…to the website of St. John's Eucharistic Fellowship! An extension of St. Andrew's Charismatic Episcopal Church of Covington and the Diocese of the Mid-South, St. John's is a gathering for God's people committed to sharing the love of Christ with the people of Royston and of the surrounding area of Franklin, Madison, and Hart counties. Richly blessed with the love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, our everyday goal is to know Christ better, and to share with others the good news of the truth and joy to be found in a personal relationship with Him. We welcome people of all ages and ethnicities, from all walks of life. We meet in Royston every Thursday at 7:00 p.m., and on the first Sunday of the month at 10:00 a.m., for the ministry of the Word of God and the Holy Eucharist. At St. John's you will find biblical preaching and teaching, the order and beauty of Spirit-led sacramental worship, friendly people who care about you, and an atmosphere of great peace and calm. We welcome you to worship the Lord Jesus Christ with us.
Our desire is to express the Father's love to our community by feeding His sheep with the Body and Blood of our Lord Christ. We take Christ's command to St. Peter to "feed my sheep" (John 21:17) very seriously. We also take seriously the Lord's words through St. John, " . . . unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you." (John 6:53). Many Christians are starved and anemic today because the Eucharist is not being celebrated in obedience to the Lord's command to "do this in remembrance (anamnesis) of me." (Luke 22:19)
